Sažetak
There are three points that were addressed within the lecture accompanied by examples of feminist actions in the context of war(s) in the former Yugoslavia. The first is that for feminists nationalism seems to be a very troubling concept and there is a kind of uneasiness in dealing with it regardless of the position that feminists take toward this phenomenon. The second is that we should deconstruct the illusion that we are living in a post-national situation ; nationalism(s) don’t disappear with globalization or with neoliberalism and a free market capitalist economy. The third point is that nationalism is rather deceptive or tricky concept than unambiguous one. In that sense the lecture referred to Homi Bhabha's approach to nation, nationalism and nationness. In addition one of the questions which provokes a new horizon of thinking is the role of women in liberation and nationalist movements, namely how to approach this issue and with which critical lenses.
