Sažetak
The research of dyeing process, i.e., dyeing of physico-chemical modified polyester knitwear by disperse dye in the presence of ultrasonic waves, at a lower temperature (120-130 C) and free carriers have been presented in this manuscript. The degree of exhaustion in creases over time, more at the lowest initial concentrations. The absolute amount of exhausted dye increases with increasing dye concentration. Langmuir's and Freundlich's isotherms were used to analyze the mechanism of dye adsorption for knitwear. Based on the statistics for the validation of adsorption models, it was found that the Freundlich model can reliably describe the equilibrium sorption of disperse dye on polyester fibers. According to this isotherm, the existence of energy heterogeneous adsorption centers on the surface of polyester fibers was confirmed. Also, it is about non-ideal adsorption on heterogeneous fiber surfaces, as well as the existence of multilayer adsorption. Based on the research, the disperse dye used can be applied for dyeing modified PES knitwear in new conditions in the presence of ultrasound at lower temperature free carrier. Ultrasound energy, as an additional energy source, can disintegrate larger oligomer particles on the surface of PES knitwear into smaller particles and slightly reduce the crystallinity of PES knitwear, all of which support simpler and more efficient dyeing.
