Sažetak
The Konavle region suffered extensive damage during the Croatian War of Independence. Since then, the recovery process of its invaluable tangible and intangible cultural heritage has taken place continuously in various phases and on multiple levels. An important contribution to the care and preservation of textiles is the international project "4 Universities 4 Konavle". Organized by the universities of Dubrovnik, Cologne, Vienna and Budapest in cooperation with the Museums and Galleries of Konavle, Konavle County Museum. Over the course of two project phases, in 2018 and 2019, undertaken activities included condition assessment and in situ preventive conservation actions, detailed photo documentation of fragile Jelka Miš embroidery patterns collection, defining risk management process and improving museum display methods of permanent exhibition as well as storage conditions.
