Sažetak
The amount of wastewater generated, as well as its composition, makes the textile industry one of the most polluted among all industrial sectors. Therefore, the current work demonstrated a novel hybrid system by integrating sand filtration, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration for the treatment of real textile wastewater. The treatment efficiency was based on results of turbidity, chemical oxygen demand, spectral absorption coefficient, and conductivity. In that order, overall removal efficiencies were 78.0%, 84.3%, 57.7%, and 91.7%, respectively.This treatment may open an alternative technology for the treatment and reuse of textile wastewater.
