Sažetak
The aim of this research is to compare the results of measuring the annual ring width of Douglas fir wood by the visual (non-destructive) method and using the Resi 500 resistograph, ie the destructive method. Two visual methods were used in this research, the first of which is based on measuring the annual ring width with a magnifying glass magnification 10 times, and the second method is based on image processing in the CDendro program. After a detailed statistical analysis of the obtained measurement results of the annual ring width, the differences in the measurement results were tested for the purpose of comparing the destructive and non-destructive methods.
