Sažetak
On the assumption that the selling price and the incomes are the market values formed under the competitive conditions, the profit, as a principal goal for every company, will substantially depend on the amount of the costs. As costs become a more important factor for making business decisions, managers require more reliable information on costs. Consequently, many different monitoring and cost control systems have been developed. These systems help in making decisions on product mix and price, thereby improving the utilisation of resources and minimising the cost of production.
