Sažetak
The paper analyses positive aspects of care from the perspective of family caregivers. The study involved 342 participants, all from the city of Zagreb, who are informal caregivers of persons over 65 years of age. The results show that despite the complex demands of such type of care, caregivers recognise its positive aspects as well. The highest degree of agreement relates to the following claims: “Caregiving experience has taught me about (sharing) mutual responsibilities” and “I find that I can provide best care to the ones I love”. The importance of a multidisciplinary approach both in providing care for a sick person or supporting his/her family members, especially those who are caregivers, is beyond question.
