Sažetak
This paper presents the thermal buckling analysis of functionally graded (FG) beams. As the temperature changes, the longitudinal fibers tend to extend in the axial direction. If the extension is disabled, axial stresses occur in the longitudinal fibers, which can cause the buckling. For this reason, the loss of stability is defined by the critical buckling temperature. The critical buckling temperature can be defined as temperature at which column collapses or deflections tends toward the infinity. In order to determine critical buckling temperatures, several numerical examples are run for various material parameter. The effects of material distribution on beam stable state is considered. Thermal buckling responses are ilustrated via temperature vs deflection curves
