Sažetak
Examination of the chromatographic separation of structural isomers of aminophenols showed that m- and p-aminophenols cannot succesfully be separated on silica gel layers although a certain separation by solvent system variation can be achieved. However, the addition of Cu(II), Al(III) and Fe(III)-ions to the silica gel when preparing the chromatographic layer provides an oppurtunity for a very good separation of m- and p-aminophenols, while the spot of o-aminophenol on the layers containing metal ions becomes tailed.
