Sažetak
Ground surface roughness is very important during grinding process by reason of its influence on applicability and functionality of machine elements, for the elements machined with grinding process. Ground roughness value is constructive determined in the means of functionality of the elements to be machined. Certain ground surface roughness can be obtained in dependence of grinding parameters, wheel specification and dressing condition of the grinding wheel. The testing results of influence of grinding conditions and tool dressing conditions on ground surface roughness, by deep straight peripheral grinding, with high porosity grinding wheel, dressed with carbide pressing roller, will be presented in this paper. It was noticed that minimum ground surface roughness is obtained by certain grinding wheel cutting surface.
