Sažetak
A PDM output digital MEMS microphone was measured and compared to a reference electret microphone. Measured parameters included sensitivity, frequency response, dynamic range and linearity. It was measured how PDM signal’s noise floor of a digital microphone depends on the clock frequency. The results showed that measured digital MEMS microphone is suitable for use in microphone arrays and general use as acoustic sensors, but compared to a reference microphone, certain limitations should be considered.
