Sažetak
Number of different types of the waste tires is rapidly growing. Due to the increasing number of waste tires all over the world, landfills are overloaded with waste tires and nature is exposed to potential environmental threats such as mosquitoes, mice, pests, spread of infectious diseases and increased risk of fire. Waste tire rubber is a non-biodegradable material with relatively long lifespan and because of this fact it has attracted the attention of engineers, building industry and recycling industry to produce concrete with rubber, i.e. self-compacting rubberized concrete (SCRC), providing eco- friendly concrete with recycled tire rubber. Fresh and hardened state properties of self-compacting rubberized concrete were investigated. Different variations in replacement percentage of natural fine aggregate and cement was proposed, and concrete fresh and hardened properties were examined.
