Sažetak
Textile wastewater (TWW) treatment process is a significant issue because textile industry is one of the most water-consuming industries and generates every day high amount of wastewater. Therefore, we investigated a lab-scale hybrid process of membrane bioreactor and flat sheet ultrafiltration membrane in order to treat the real TWW. Chemical oxygen demand, turbidity, conductivity, and color were analyzed at each treatment step. In that order, results provided removal of 77.5%, 74.8%, 43.9% and 56.0%, respectively. This hybrid process contributes to sustainable development in the textile industry by improving the quality of treated TWW, which helps maintain ecosystems.
