Sažetak
Croatian coastal territory is in the state of latent instability. During the last hundred years it has changed 5 different states and political systems. This condition proves that disorder has a preventive character. In spite of global pressures, out of 5.835 kilometres of Croatian coast only 15 % is built up. Croatian coastal territory reflects historical dynamics. It shows a discontinuous line od 100 historical cities and 200 traditioanl villages interrupted by 7 national parks and 8 nature reserves. A contex that continuously produces new conditions imposes innovation and experimentation as the only work models. Various fusion procedures have shaped the Croatian territory as amalgams of different coexisting realities.
