Sažetak
The purpose of this paper is to critically examine the methodological procedures used in the research that aims at describing and understanding the elements facilitating and perpetuating international circular labour migration of women from the Croatian region of Slavonija to the neighbouring countries. The conceptual framework expands on the literature on gendered circular migration for low-skilled employment in the sectors of care work, agriculture, and the tourist industry. the research employs narrative interviews, twenty-three in total, with the interview guide consisting of a generative question that elicits narration and a semi-structured part exploring topics of conceptual interest. Special attention is given to combining two steps of analysis of narratives and their presentations in the body of the doctoral thesis, along with examining argumentation for these steps.
