Sažetak
As an invited lecturer to the seminar « Limits of Perception : Frames and Experiences of the Sensible », Kade Centre, Old Chem 724) organised by the Department of German studies at the University of Cincinnati (Ohio, US), our task was to present an example of the limits of perception: Marquis de Sade's perception of the body gave us an ideal platform to examine the limites of the sexual, from the theatrical to the pornographic, from the serious to the frivolous, without forgetting the limits of the historical (the libertine tradition).
