Presentation at the 14th Annual International Scientific Conference AHRA (Architectural Humanities Research Association) "Architecture, Festival & the City" (Birmingham City University, UK), 16.11.2017-18.11.2017. : "Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette's Vanity Fair - Fireworks and the Massacre in the Rue Royale" tried to present a specific historic event, the massacre in the Rue Royale after the fireworks that celebrated Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette's mariage. The aim of the presentation was to link a specific historic context with its royal figures and all the others, even the people (Arlette Farge), a specific space, 18th century Paris and its architecture to present a specific idea of the Festival and the City.
