Sažetak
Lean Product Development (LPD) is the application of lean principles to product development (PD). The increasing acceptance of LPD by firms also allows for the inclusion of sustainability in its processes. Although Lean and Sustainability have been applied in many organizations, their integration into the design and development of new products still presents a challenge. An investigation of LPD tools interrelation to sustainability and link to economic, environmental, and social dimensions of sustainability will be carried out. This paper identifies the LPD tools and sustainability aspects of engineering processes and presents the opportunity of further investigation of their interrelations.
