Sažetak
In an ideal world, it is necessary to learn to think critically. Unfortunately, the necessity of critical thinking in formal education was merely desired or wanted by a few thinkers. In today's digital age, however, the need for critical thinking is growing. Why? The paper examines the philosophical understanding of critical thinking from historical and current perspectives. We will look at the basic of formal logic, the cornerstone of critical thinking. Then, we will focus on the two milestones for the method of critical thinking in the history of philosophy. Finally, we will present an ongoing project that encurages critical thinking in children.
