Sažetak
University engagement projects have a profound transformational impact on local economies and social wellbeing. Students of agriculture should be aware of these new tendencies, and there should be more activities of teaching research and community engagement. Therefore, we decided to create a student centered teaching workshop "Land Consolidation and Rural Area Development". Since the Bavarian program of village renovation has become a European model, German course seemed to be an adequate basis. The workshop was divided into three parts. The students' response to the workshop showed that they were very satisfied with the interactive approach to the subject matter.
