Sažetak
IT governance is part of the overall corporate governance and encompasses processes and structures in the company that enable business and IT managers to exercise responsibility in creating the business value of IT and developing the company's competitive position. The purpose of the paper describes the importance of IT governance as well as the results of research related to the assessment of IT performance in a particular company using Cobit 5 as one of the leading IT Governance framework. The methodology used in this study includes the Cobit 5 framework and the BSC / IT BSC method. Furthermore, for the purposes of the research, an interview was conducted with business and IT managers. Data were collected based on respondents' responses and relevant documentation. The results of the research showed a positive correlation between the mapped business and IT goals in the company using the COBIT 5 guidelines. Moreover, the results of the research showed the successful application of IT in the company and the achieved IT contribution for finances and customers, as well as for internal business, learning and growth of the company. The scientific contribution of the paper is in the applied methodology that helps business and IT management within the company to upgrade their existing approaches to an integrated methodology for assessing IT performance.
