Sažetak
The presentation discusses current issues in CAN data collection in Croatia. The two key points of the presentation is that the system for Child protection in Croatia has the main purpose to protect the children and families and not to provide data for the researchers, so it is a responsibility of the researchers to accomodate to the system. In the second part the problem of the representation of cases in the system is discussed, with the main focus that the system has an overrepresentation of people from the non- priviledged groups, thus all of the conclusions from the studies on administrative data suffer from this bias.
