Sažetak
Digital manufacturing concept has been presented in Europe as Industry 4.0 ten years ago. Most of thecountries all over the world have defined their own transformational strategy and tried to implement it into the physical system with help of local national platforms. The transition from traditional to digital company in most cases is very challenging ; therefore many manufacturers today don’t even consider starting their road towards the Industry 4.0. In this case, the perception on Industry 4.0 within the company is important, so this paper gives an overview of the current research in this field, shows how has the perception of Industry 4.0 and its elements changed over the past ten years and what are today considered to be driving forces and barriers to those who didn’t start their transformational process yet.
