Sažetak
The study examines the issue of omniscient narrator. From the point of view of the subject, it elaborates the theoretical context that attaches considerable significance to the phenomenon of modern literature as well. The writing of the paper was mainly motivated by the fact that we can recognize many aspects of Katalin Street, through contact with the supernatural dimension, where we can reinterpret the role of the hidden, included narrator in many ways. The matching of narrative perspectives plays an essential role in this context. The narrator portrays this phenomenon not as neutral thought-emotional point of view, but by gaining its motivating role together with the existential and ethical aspects associated with it in the first-person narrative. Finally, the study reflects on how the recipients' perception of storytelling can be approached in Katalin Street, and how the existing readers' expectations and value judgments shed light on the omniscient narrator's figure.
