Sažetak
Internet marketing in a modern marketing concept and the new electronic environment is defined as using the internet and other digital technologies to achieve marketing goals. A relationship with customers is built and maintained through the presence and activities on the internet. Internet marketing techniques and tools are an effective means of promoting the wood processing industry’s business market. The growth in the number of users of the internet and other digital technologies is also reflected in the growth in the number of users in the segment of the wood processing industry market and other market segments. Business entities’ business activities are informatively available to users and potential customers through corporate profiles on social networks such as Instagram, Facebook, etc. This paper analyses the application of internet marketing in the market segment of the wood processing industry. The research was conducted in 2020 on business entities engaged in wood processing and furniture production in the Republic of Croatia. The set research hypotheses analyze an efficient and effective means of promoting business entities, products, and services and the primary starting point of access points for information available on business entities, products, and services. Research results showed a growing trend in the number of Internet users. Respondents often use the internet in business activities, have created a corporate email that they often use for business purposes, access to the internet is most often achieved by the mobile device and desktop computer, and are informed online about products and services of business entities with which they cooperate or will cooperate mainly through content posted on the business website. Detailed research results are presented in the paper.
