Sažetak
Istria is a well-known tourist destination with a significant increase in tourist numbers in previous years, so attention should be paid to managing its destinations sustainably. As in other Mediterranean countries, Istria faces many challenges with the various effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, sustainable measures are crucial for further competitiveness in the tourism market in the future. In order to create new solutions, decision-makers need useful information. This paper provides an overview of the collected indicators (economic, socio-cultural and environmental) for sustainable tourism for three destinations in the Istrian County - Poreč, Novigrad and Labin - in the period from 2017 to 2019. Indicators are available on the online open platform which was created within the INTERREG MED MITOMED+ project. The aim is to compare the results over these years and to determine the differences in the collected indicators. The paper provides insights into the destinations' indicators, giving useful information for decision-makers to help prevent tourism's adverse effects and to obtain a satisfying tourism development level.
