Sažetak
Goel-Okumoto model is NHPP (Nonhomogenuous Poisson Process) software reliability model. In practice, a large number of failure data is required in order the estimation to be accurate. In this paper we use Goel-Okumoto model to determine the Software Reliability level for the telecom software components developed in R&D of Ericsson Nikola Tesla in Split that are deployed at customers sites. The model is based on TRs (Trouble reports) reported by the customer in the design maintenance organization within R&D. It is shown that the reliability of software significantly increases with the operational field days. In other words, a failure rate significantly decreases with the failure reduction. Based on this model, number of remaining failures is predicted as well as the reliability parameters boundaries.
