Sažetak
THE USE OF MERISTEM TIP CULTURE TO ELIMINATE VIRUSES FROM STRAWBERRY PLANTS -The aim of our study was to test the meristem method for removing viruses from strawberry plants. In the experiment, we used 4 varieties of Senga, Sengana and Gorella, which came from productive farms. The whole "in vitro" procedure is divided into three phases: a) meristem culture b) germ propagation c) rooting. By performing the planned procedure, we were able to obtain visually healthy plants. In the next study, plants derived from meristems will be tested for economically important viruses.
