The Adriatic Hotel is an eloquent experiment which maintains a covert dialogue between the historical and the contemporary where neither of the layers is unambiguous. 3LHD's detailing skills and dedication to execution perfection are flawless and that allows for almost a perverse play with atmospheres which, to a bigger or lesser extent, break conventions of hotel design.
