Sažetak
After the civil society organizations in the post- Yugoslav cultural sphere during the nineties formed on the "resistance to chauvinist government and the affirmation of the values of the civil society, the contemporary independent cultural scene has been engaged in creating the conditions for collective action in the field of culture and affirmation of aesthetic dimension which actually dissolves nationalistic culture that continues to dominate as a cultural paradigm" (Miskovic, 2011). Directing their own organizational culture towards collective action becomes a political choice, i.e. the resistance to dominant individualistic paradigm of work in the field of culture. Initiatives of the independent cultural scene arise in a bottom-up manner, and at the time of culture opening up to the market, their logic is not the one of profit but it is the dependence on the financial support of the foundations that affects the scope and nature of their work. At a time when available resources are not sufficient, and the working conditions are inadequate, cultural workers are turning to political action, which is achieved through new forms and models of collective and critical engagement. One of these new models are intensive collaborative platforms and tactical networks. According to Višnić (2008), the main features of these new socio-cultural practices are broadening the definition of cultural action and the development of new collaborative practices and models and promote critical function of culture in social production. Some networks of organizations that are tactically trying to redefine their marginalized position in the overall cultural system succeed in expanding the area of their own actions while some are absorbed by the dominant system. In this paper, the methods of interviews and discourse analysis will used with the goal of detecting different uses of the tactics for achieving sustainability, and its consequences for the further development of the networks.
