Sažetak
Three bora case are considered the IOP ALPEX: 5-7 March, 21-25 March and 13-15 April 1982. The vertical distribution of wind and temperature over Pula is presented for the boundary layer up to 3 km, and compared with the same structure in Zagreb. The highest bora layer over Zagreb is found during the strongest bora on 6 March, extended up to 3 km and it was clearly recognized in Pula but at lower altitudes. The situation of 22-25 March was characterized by northerly winds throughout the troposphere. The mesoscale analysis for 14 April marked similarities in streamlines with those presented by Yoshino (1976) and emphasized more details in wind and temperature distribution. This case was characterized by the longest duration of bora in Senj. The time and space variations of bora are strengthening with weaker upper troposphere winds.
