Sažetak
Our results indicate that Dinaric lynx population has a low genetic variability. This is a consequence of a reintroduction, as entire population has been founded on six animals. Founder effect, genetic drift, loss of heterozygosity and inbreeding depression are present. This continuous loss of genetic variation is faster the smaller the population is. For this reason it is important to ensure that the population will grow as fast as possible to such size that this process has a minimal affect.
