Sažetak
The theme of this final work is Aleksandar Marks - Zagreb School of Animated Film. Cartoon is a sort of film art. It belongs to a group of animated films. The cartoon has been called ''the eight art''. The history of animated film goes back in early 20's, when a twelve-year-old boy, with his artistic name Walt Disney, started to realize his dream. He was glorified by many of his animated films that brought him worldwide fame. Film animation in Croatia also has a long history. A group of authors dedicated to create the Zagreb School of Animated Film in a pursuit of creating a new animation concepts. Some of the most famous cartoons, on which we can thank Zagreb School of Animated Film are: Hlapić the Little Shoemaker, Fantasy Forest, Balthazar, Tom Thumb, Magician's Hat, Key Largo, and many others. Cartoon, with all its element, has a huge impact on children and influences the development of certain functions. The child developes speech, feelings, imagination, creativity and identifying with the heroes of cartoons reveals all the possibilities and opportunities that world offers. The role of parents and kindegarden educators is to choose a quality cartoon that is appropriate to the child. Aleksandar Marks was born in 1922 in Čazma, he was author of animated films and one of the founders of the Zagreb School of Cartoon Film. Marks made an animated version of the story "Who made Videk a shirt". The story of a small Videk tells the children that it is good to help others, because good things come to those who are good
