Sažetak
The paper deals with the measurement and calculation estimation of the electric field values generated by 110 kV power line. The obtained results are compared to exposure limits. The considered power line consists of three conductors positioned at 12 m, 14 m and 16 m above the ground. Both, the measurement and calculation are carried out according to Croatian Standard HR RN 62110 and Croatian Legislative in 8 points at the heights of 0.5 m, 1 m, and 1.5 m above the ground at each point. The measured results yield the levels of the electric fields between 2.8 kV/m and 4.3 kV/m. In comparison to defined limits, the exposure levels go between 57 % and 86 %. The calculated results show the electric field level between 3.6 kV/m and 4.2 kV/m, which is 72 % and 84 % respectively in comparison to maximum allowed field strength. It is important to notice that chosen points are classified as a public area. If this power line would be passing above the area classified as the area of increased sensitivity (such are children playground, house backyard, etc.), the exposure levels would exceed the defined limits in every point.
