Sažetak
Vanadium oxide tends to form a lamellar structure that allows the intercalation/de-intercalation of different ions between its layers. This property allows for its use in catalysts, in electrochromic devices, in an advanced electrochemical cells, especially in lithium batteries. Nanosized vanadium and vanadium/cerium oxide thin films, prepared by sol-gel dip-coating, have been investigated by small angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS). Since the films have been prepared on glass substrate, the grazing incidence (GISAXS) set up was used.
