Sažetak
This is a critical review of a long-lasting process of making citizenship education an integral part of formal education in Croatia. It highlights a series of political obstacles to implement the first comprehensive and interdisciplinary Croatian Citizenship Education Curriculum after its successful piloting in schools in 2014.
