Sažetak
On the list of academic vocations in Croatia there are no New Testament Scholars, only Biblicists which has to be attributed to the great impact of doctrine in the field of theology. This paper traces the slow emergence of a New Testament scholarship in Croatia and credits it to some innovative and courageous theological thinking and action of a group of bible scholars who insisted on the implementation of Vaticanum II conclusions in the Croatian Chrisianity.
