Sažetak
Persons deprived of legal capacity could not excercise the right to vote by Croatian legislation despite the obligations arisinig from the ratification of Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities according to which the persons with disabilities should enjoy legal capacity on an equal basis as another persons. The aim of this paper is to analyse data on the actors involved, their roles, strategies and actions taken that enabled voting rights persons deprived of their legal capacity via enacment of the Register of Voters Act (2012) and advocative initiatives haunched two years prior to it.
