Sažetak
When the orthodontic approach alone have an anatomical and aesthethic limitations then the treatment planning of severe facial deformities is always a great challenge. This lecture will be demonstrated the achievments of contemporary orthodontic and orthognathic treatment approaches of severe skeletal deformities as cleft palates, facial asymmetrys, Class II and Class III anomalies. 3D immaging planning tools will be discussed and compared in order to give participants a guideline for their use. All of this will be illustrated by presenting a wide range of clinical examples and discussed with regard to the orthodontic literature.
