Sažetak
This presentation was a part of the panel organized by professor dr. Kuniko Miyanaga, which entitled “New Traditions in Globalized Society”. In this panel, panellists explored how people were reacting to globalization and how we would be able to get through the identity crisis caused by globalization. In my presentation, a case of Jodo- Shinshu Shinran-kai (one of Japanese new religions ; an independent layperson's organization inspired by the Jodo Shin Buddhism - True Pure Land Buddhism) was delved into as one of the backlashes to globalization.
