Sažetak
In this article, educational robotics and its insertion in the schools are treated. Taking into account that nowadays is clear that education cannot be immutable, the introduction of new technologies becomes natural and can be used as an instrument of combating scholar dropout. The motivation for the use of robotics as one of the most powerful didactic instruments among new technologies is introduced in this article. Experiences in the different teaching levels, from kindergarten until the end of secondary school are described as a way to demonstrate robotics usefulness during all the formative process. Proliferation of educational robotics is treated particularly in the Italian and Portuguese cases not excluding references to all Europe and the United States. In the context of educational robotics, examples of e-learning, teleconference among students and tele-robotics are shown. Innovative experiences are also mentioned like robotics in pediatric hospitals or for autistic kids. At last, the notion of continuity of robotics use along the formative process concludes the article.
