Sažetak
At issue here is the production and implementation of selected contents from the permanent display on touch screens. Contents grouped into two themes are placed at two interactive kiosks: the Peasants’ Revolt and the Croatian National Revival. The interactive application enables an augmented presentation of the Peasants’ Revolt in the broader light of feudal exactions, feudal society and commerce and a depiction of other revolts for which there was no space in the current conception of the permanent display. The application has enabled a depiction of the place of the Peasants’ Revolt in the collective memory. In the part about the Croatian National Revival a broader European context is indicated, and a deeper insight into individual objects from the collection as well as into the Oršić family, which built the castle, and their role in the Revival. In a quiz for the occasion the visitors can check out their knowledge, while an expansion of the contents with interactive games for education and entertainment is planned. The preparation of the applications was effectuated with the M++ system module for the handling of virtual collections, using museum documentation enhanced with accompanying original texts to do with individual thematic units. The project is partially financed by the Promotion of Innovation in Tourism Programme.
