Sažetak
71 pairs of monozygotic (MZ) and 78 pairs of dizygostic (DZ) twins were tested with four tests which were designed to measure two factors of verbal abilities (vocabulary and word fluencyand two factor of spatial abilities (visualization and spatial orientation). The heritable variation of each of this tests were substantial. Several models about genetical covariance structure were compared using LISREL. Results showed that a model which hypothesizes both general and verbal or spatial group genetic factor fits data the bests. So, it seems plausible to conclude that verbal and spatial abilities have partly separate genetical basis.
