Sažetak
In last ten years, particularly from the moment of publishing paper “Design Science in Information Systems Research” in MIS Quarterly Design Science become wider accepted scientific method in Information Systems research discipline. As opposed to behavioural science which deals with human and organisational behaviour, design science paradigm deals with creation of new artifacts. Aim of this paper is to give an overview of thoughts, concepts, frameworks and development of design science as a research method in information systems field. Information Systems are artifacts synthesized from hardware, software, database and networks, and are put in real world to fulfill functions and goals, satisfied or adopt new structures and execute specific processes. Such artificial artifact entering real world, they are influencing society, which in response provide feedback to designers for a updated version. To design process and most suitable product in such a dynamic complex system of interactions, very rigid scientific procedure is necessary. But is it sufficient?
