Sažetak
As Schlink’s Vorleser is a typical representative of the postmodern German novel which reflects on the traumatic national- socialist past from the perspective of the younger generation, the aim of this presentation would be to explore the role of the distracted protagonist in his postmodern Vergangenheitsbewältigung attempt.
