Sažetak
Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder does not affect only child′s life but family ecosystem as well. The purpose of this review of literature was to summarize studies regarding the psychological adjustment and well-being of siblings of children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Electronic databases were reviewed in order to compile relevant research on following key words: siblings, ADHD, well-being, quality of life. Only four articles met the criteria. Siblings of children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder report different treatment in family environment, sense of rejection by parents, behavioral and emotional problems, high levels of anxiety, depression, aggressiveness, low self- esteem and responsibility of carrying for sibling.
