Sažetak
Modern parenting is influenced by the rapid development of technology, easy access to information, and the exchange of ideas through interpersonal digital communication. Today's parents are actively involved in the trend of information via the Internet, whether it is personal or professional life, which indicates the need to explore the use of virtual space to develop parental competencies from a pedagogical perspective. An online survey of 390 respondents was conducted to investigate differences of opinion among parents about the use of virtual space as a useful source of advice to parents on raising children concerning age, level of education, and frequency of visits to social networks and parental portals. A slightly positive level of the opinion of the respondents on the usefulness and applicability of advice on raising children collected via the Internet and differences in these opinions concerning the level of education of the respondents was found. Also, a statistically significant difference was found in the opinions of respondents on confidence in the effectiveness of parenting advice collected in the virtual space about the frequency of visits to social networks and parental portals, which confirms the thesis that tips on raising children collected in a virtual space.
