Sažetak
Production of particleboards is in Europe and in the World increasing from year to year. Especially in Europe those boards are mainly used in furniture production and less for construction, while in North America, from where OSB boards originate, those boards are in construction almost completely replaced plywood boards. In this article the differences between particle and OSB boards will be presented. It was determined that OSB boards have lower density and more uniform density profile than particleboard. It was also determined that OSB boards have lower thickness swelling and higher bending strength and modulus of elasticity.
