The presentation explains the complex nature of Zagreb School modernist animation in the context of its era: the tradition of modernism and its contemporary context, the political and social context of Yugoslav society, economic aspects as well as general cultural tendencies of interpretation. To name and see a school in this context means to reinterpret it all the time, all over again.
