Sažetak
The paper presents some experiences of components life assessment in refinery process plants. Typical parts failures, specific to these types of operating conditions as degradation and destruction of construction materials, are described. Effects of the most often environmental operating impurities are presented and modes of decreasing their impact are emphasised. A detail case history of the residual life assessment in a refinery process plant is presented.
